Months behind on your books and a quarterly return due
We keep your BIR-registered books up to date every month from the receipts, invoices and payouts you send us, and bring past months current first if you've fallen behind. You get a reply within 48 hours of your enquiry with a quote or the questions we need to give one.
Is this you?
- Your books were registered when you got your COR, but nothing has been written in them since.
- Sales invoices, expense receipts, GCash and bank payouts and 2307s are piling up, and your next return needs the totals.
- You do the books yourself late at night and you're never sure the totals match what you filed.
What getting your books up to date involves
The steps marked We handle this are the work you hand to us.
Tell us where things stand
YouSend a short enquiry with the rough size of the job: about how many sales and expense receipts you have a month, your book format if you know it, and how many months are unrecorded. No TIN or documents yet.
We reply with a quote or a few questions
We handle thisWithin 48 hours you get a quote, or the questions we need answered to give one. The quote lists what's included and the documents we'll ask for.
Send the records for the period
YouOnce you go ahead, you send sales invoices, expense receipts, bank and e-wallet statements and any 2307s through the secure channel we agree with you.
We record and reconcile
We handle thisWe enter each transaction in the format of your registered books, check the totals against your bank and e-wallet statements, and list any documents that are missing.
Past months first, then monthly
We handle thisIf you're behind, we bring the oldest unrecorded month current first and work forward. After that, the books are updated every month after your cut-off.
You get a monthly summary
TogetherEach month you receive a plain summary of income and expenses and a list of missing documents. At quarter end the totals are ready for your quarterly return.
Keep the books for five years
YouYour books and supporting records stay with you. The Tax Code requires them to be kept for five years.

Questions
How much does bookkeeping cost?
We quote after the first reply instead of publishing one price, because the work varies. What affects the quote: how many transactions you have a month, how many bank and e-wallet accounts we reconcile, whether you're VAT or non-VAT, your book format, and how many months behind the books are. You get the quote, or the questions needed for it, within 48 hours.
What do you need from me?
Nothing sensitive in the enquiry: just your name, how to reach you, and a rough idea of your volume. After our first reply we'll ask for your COR, your registered books, the period's invoices and receipts, bank and e-wallet statements, and any 2307s, sent through a secure channel we agree with you.
What don't you do?
We don't prepare audited financial statements, which need an independent CPA's signature. Books of businesses with gross annual sales over ₱3 million must be audited by an independent CPA. We also don't sign or certify financial statements for filing, represent clients in BIR audits, or give tax planning advice.
Can I keep my own books instead?
Yes, and plenty of freelancers and small sellers do. You need books registered with the BIR, every sale and expense recorded, and the records kept for five years. Our books of accounts entry explains the formats. Help makes sense when the volume or the backlog is more than you have time for.
I'm already months behind. Can you still help?
Yes. Catch-up is part of the service. We record the oldest unrecorded month first and work forward, so the totals for your next return come from complete books. If returns were missed too, our open cases service covers those.
Manual, loose-leaf or computerized: which format should I use?
All three are allowed. Loose-leaf and computerized books need BIR authority before you use them. If your books are already registered, we keep them in that format. If you want to change format, mention it when you enquire.
How long does it take?
It depends on how many months are behind and how quickly the documents come in. We agree a monthly cut-off with you once we've seen your records, rather than promising a turnaround in advance.
