Employees use Form 1700, purely self-employed and professionals use 1701A or 1701, and corporations use 1702. Quarterly income tax for individuals uses 1701Q. Check each form page for who must file and when.

Form 2316 is the Certificate of Compensation Payment and Tax Withheld that your employer issues each year. It summarizes your annual salary and the tax withheld, and substitutes for filing if you qualify for substituted filing.
