On ₱5,000 for 120 days, Maypera's published terms come to at most ₱730 in interest and fees: interest of 1.15% a month and an all-in cost of 6.3% a month, higher because its service fee comes off the cash, so you get ₱4,500 but repay on ₱5,000, and you repay in instalments but pay interest on the original amount the whole time. Maypera on Google Play, updated May 14, 2025

Working: 14% a year × 120/365 days × ₱5,000 = ₱230 interest; service fee 10% × ₱5,000 = ₱500. The all-in rate is the monthly rate at which 4 payments of ₱1,308 repay the ₱4,500 you receive (SEC MC No. 14 s.2025 Sec. 2(d)).

Within the SEC caps for this loan: interest 1.15% a month against the 6% cap; all-in 6.3% a month against the 12% cap (SEC MC No. 14 s.2025, effective Apr 1, 2026). SEC MC No. 14 s.2025
