On ₱5,000 for 120 days, Finplo's published terms come to at most ₱493 in interest and fees: Finplo states a combined interest-and-fees rate of 2.5% a month, which works out to an all-in cost of 3.9% a month on the cash you receive because you repay in instalments but pay interest on the original amount the whole time. Finplo on Google Play, updated Aug 10, 2026

Working: 30% a year × 120/365 days × ₱5,000 = ₱493 (interest and fees). The all-in rate is the monthly rate at which 4 payments of ₱1,373 repay the ₱5,000 you receive (SEC MC No. 14 s.2025 Sec. 2(d)).

Within the SEC caps for this loan: no separate interest rate to test against the 6% cap; all-in 3.9% a month against the 12% cap (SEC MC No. 14 s.2025, effective Apr 1, 2026). SEC MC No. 14 s.2025
